WITHOUT PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP
This notice covers persons who have applied to register to vote and have not yet provided proof of
citizenship. Due to recent court rulings, if you have applied to register to vote at a Kansas Division of
Motor Vehicles office or if you have applied to register to vote using the “Federal Form” voter
registration application (as opposed to the standard ‘state form’) and have not yet provided proof of
citizenship, you are registered to vote unless you receive official notice stating otherwise. Your
name will appear on the poll book for your voting location and you will be given a standard ballot.
There is nothing further you need to provide unless and until you receive further notice.

NOTICE OF PLACES AND DATES OF VOTER REGISTRATION
In compliance with the provisions of KSA 25-2310 and KSA 25-2311 notice is hereby given that the books for registration are now open for the WILSON COUNTY ELECTIONS for all REGISTERED VOTERS in Wilson County.
The registration books will close 20 days prior to an election.

A citizen of the United States who is 18 years of age and upwards or will have attained the age of 18 years at the next election must register before he or she can vote. Registration books close 21 days prior to every election.
When a voter has been registered according to law, his/her registration shall continue to be valid until one of the following occurs:
- Voter changes name by marriage, divorce, or legal proceedings.
- Voter changes residence.
- Voter fails to vote in 2 (two) November General Elections.
IF ANY OF THE ABOVE OCCURRED YOU MUST RE-REGISTER.
A person may apply in person or by mail to the County Election Officer, 615 Madison, Fredonia, KS 66736 or at the above named locations. Application forms shall be provided by the County Election Officer upon request. Application forms must be signed by applicant under penalty of perjury.
